The House of Parada is an old farmhouse of recognized ethnographic value.
The stables, located beneath the living quarters of the house, connect the garden to the yard. They cover an area of 400 m², distributed according to the old stone rooms, which were used to keep livestock until 1982. Since Uxío Novoneyra took up residence in Santiago de Compostela, they remained closed.
Since 2010, the stables have been adapted for various cultural uses. Today, they house exhibition rooms, a cafeteria, and the Foundation’s shop, where you can find our publications. The old granary also houses the historical documentary archive.
WHO in the high afternoon
walked to taste the air
knows that the shadow is more
than a mere darkness.

The air has a quality
that is lost if one names it.
