Uxio Novoneyra Foundation looks for Poets interested in Santiago\u00b4s Way and writing about Xacobeo pilgrimage<\/em><\/h2>\n

Uxio Novoneyra Foundation opens the application to itinerary poetic seconds residences in the Santiago\u00b4s Way, project included on \u201cO teu Xacobeo\u201d backed by Xunta de Galicia.<\/h3>\n

The goal of Uxio Novoneyra Foundation\u2019s residence project “\u00c1meto M\u00edtico (Mitical Ambit)\u201d is to update the legacy of the Trovadoresca Galego-Portuguesa poetry known by the influence of provenzal poetry and impact from sufi verses that came to Galicia through the Way.<\/p>\n

We would like to boost this legacy and partner with poets interested in the pilgrimage experience to spread the Camino de Santiago like a mythical field of research to keep writing verses about it.<\/p>\n

Following the routes on Ux\u00edo Novoneyra\u2019s book \u00abArrodeos de Desv\u00edos do Cami\u00f1o de Santiago\u201d, well-known for modernizing trobadour poetry, we offer five (5) writing and poetic pilgrimage residencies along the Xacobeo route in Galician territory.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”1032″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]The itinerary residences will be held between 12\/04\/2021 to 25\/04\/2021, scheduled as follows:<\/p>\n

  • 12\/04\/2021: Participants arrive to Santiago de Compostela airport or railway station, travel to O Cebreiro.<\/li>\n
  • 13\/04\/2021 – 19\/04\/2021: Pilgrimage along the French Way, from O Cebreiro to Santiago de Compostela.<\/li>\n
  • 20-25\/04\/2021: Lectures and workshops on libraries of four (6) municipalities along the Way.<\/li>\n
  • 26\/04\/2021: Return from Santiago de Compostela.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
